Macintosh OS X:
- From the Mac OS X FinderFinder , hit Command+K to bring up the ‘Connect to Server’ window.
- Enter the path to the network drive you want to map, ie: In the "Server Address:" field, type smb://win.ad.jhu.edu/cloud/son$/SON and click ‘Connect’.
To - If you want to save the network drive in your list of favorite servers, click the plus "+" button next to the path. Enter your Login: Win\<Your_JHED_ID> and Password: <Your_JHED_Password> and click “OK” to mount the network drive.right of the Server Address field.
- Click "Connect"
- In the "Name:" field, enter your JHED ID (something like "jdoe13")
- In the "Password:" field, enter your JHED ID password (the same password you use to access most Hopkins resources)
- To have the computer remember your username and password, select Remember this password in my keychain .(only do this if you own the computer, it is password protected and is secure)
- Click “Connect” to mount the network driveClick Connect.
