1. Open the Downloads Folder and select the Popup.dmg

     control-click the application and choose “Open”

1. Open the "Popup" drive mounted to your desktop and install the "Popup.pkg"

2. Select Continue on the "Introduction" and "Read Me" dialogue windows.

3. Select Install.

4. Provide Username and Password to local machine (or fingerprint authorization) if prompted.
   

5. Open System Preferences and click on the Printers & Scanners icon. 

6. Click the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... button in the lower Right corner of the window.

7. Hold down the Control key on the keyboard and

1. click anywhere on the toolbar.

1. From the popup menu

1. that appears, select Customize Toolbar...

1. Drag the Advanced

1. icon to the toolbar and

1. close the customization dialog.

2. Click on the Advanced

1. button in the toolbar.

2. In the Type: field, select Pharos Print Server.

3. In the URL: field, enter

1. popup://son-

1. pharos.win.ad.jhu.edu/SON

1. -Student%20SecurePrint

   • It is highly recommended that you copy and paste the entire URL above to avoid a typo. If you do, make sure you paste over the existing "popup://" value.

2. In the Name: field, enter SON Student Printer

2. In the Use

1.  field,

1. select Generic PostScript Printer

2. Click the Add

3. Be sure to select the Duplex Printing Unit check box on the popup window and click OK
